He also is the first to win a majority of the votes since 1988.

GOP Gains Larger Control of Senate
GOP Gains some in the House as well...controls both houses.
Former Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle loses his election (I think he was the reason not much bipartisan work was done)
All 11 States where *** Marriage was up for vote were voted against.
In Alaska the legalization (sp?) of marijuana was voted against, as well as legalized selling of it.
In Oregon, medical marijuana was voted against.

things are already starting to surface about problems with voting.

not that kerry would have won anyways, but its something to think about. and this could easily explain why the first projections were so far off.

but really, the reason bush won and the only reason he won is because he is a president during a time of WAR. thats all.

im just not looking forward to 4 more years of lies, terrorism, and fear.

Funny, most polls on people who voted for Bush say the reason they voted for Bush were for his moral values. War was one of the lesser issues to them. But it's good to get your opinion on why other's voted for him.

And you have a lot of nerve to talk about an article having controversy in Ohio, seeing as though Ohio is home to the woman who was giving crack to people who registered to vote and promised to vote for Kerry. Also the people who were registering in Ohio and Florida, sending absentee ballots to Ohio and voting in Florida.

Your other site shows a bunch of things on California's problem (that went to Kerry) or stories from the deep south who had Bush winning big. The southeast is historically Republican, and anyone would have been thorougly shocked if Kerry got one of them (which he didn't). Hell, look at the map when comparing the vote. It's almost all red. Getting New York and California is the only thing that made Kerry close.

And first projections (the exit polls) were so skewed because people are even admitting that the exit polls were based largely on females. A majority of women voted for Kerry, while a majority of men voted for Bush.

Though I admit, it was humourous to see how giddy our 80% liberal media (polls have been done) to see when they thought Kerry was going to win. Hell, they were about to throw their own party. It was great to see how deflated they got as the night went on.

yep, americans voted in the majority for bush, he also won the electoral college, there's no way to de-legitimize it. hopefully nothing too bad will happen, I'm crossing my fingers, and now more than ever I'm loving being canadian.

Yeah, but when I stated Bush won majority for the first time since 1988, I mean he got over 50% of the voters. (roughly 51%). Even Clinton during his years had 49% at his best.

^exactly what I meant too, by majority vote and electoral college. no one can say that the american people didn't want him as preseident, cause clearly for whatever reason the majority felt he was the better candidate. once again I just hope nothing really bad happens, and that maybe, just maybe he'll be able to wrap up the mess in iraq without and further major devastation.
