You know, it's funny that most American's are so intrigued by European (mainly British) accents. I've always wondered if Europeans are wowed by our American accents....anyone? Anyone across the pond just dying to hear a good ole' Texas southern drawl?

How about Canadian? We're just annoying eh?

Some of my American female friends are always on at me to phone them.

you know, its funny that you say this,....while in europe, i found that people wanted to hear me talk,....and just talk about texas in general,...i got all kinds of crazy questions and free drinks because i've my texas southern drawl,.....

yeh i live in south texas and i dont have a drawl it sounds stupid and put on, and i refuse to say "y'all"

There's nothing wrong with the accent, and I still maintain that there is NOTHING wrong with the word y'all. I think everyone should use it. It's a perfectly good word. Y'ALL...
