Default MP3 Organizer

Find it hard to believe that there isn't a forum for software and music?

I am not sure if this is a correct location to post something like this, but doing so anyhow.

Been looking for a MP3 organizer for a while that does what I need. If anybody used the old Musicmatch software from Yahoo, it allowed you to group all songs under an artist. Unlike everything I found thus far, it listed the arist, if you wanted to see songs by them you need to click on the drop down button. It also compiled the time from all the songs for the artist and listed it. Ex.

+Billy Idol .......... 320 min 18 sec

if you clicked on Billy Idol, it would list all his songs out.

I can not find anything like this anymore?????? The ones I found only list the artist, then each song by line and doesn't allow you this type of MusicMatch function.

Does anyone have or know of a software like this?

Also I tried Fixtunes, which actually after it does it's look-up online. Shows you the entire album for a song you have. But it doesn't highlight or single out that song. It would be nice to see on an album, what songs you are still missing. ex. The one ins red is mine, all others I am missing...

I can't find any program that does this either.

Album TEST ALBUM

Song 1
Song 2
Song 3
Song 4
Song 5
Song 6

Any ideas and thank you.

It sounds like a system like itunes would be what your lookinf for?

Just shop around different music players. Amarok is good and tags music the best of any of the programs so far, not sure if its available on windows.

if you use foobar you have to do everything yourself, but at least it will be how you want it.

I know a lotta people that use WinAMP and like it. I'm not a fan: I don't like the format, don't like the library. I'm a boring old **** that uses iTunes, but I mainly do it so I can update my iPod once in a while.

I nver use any particular player as the default organiser. I always browse from my 'My Music' folder. As I keep that up to date, tagged and album art etc.
