Morrissey could actually use a few of those.

I thought emo=feel sorry for yourself.
Isn't scene=rebelling from emo by wearing bright colors, listening to pop artists that also wear bright colors, and being on the internet a lot?

It makes me sad that I know these things.

Bahaha! I don't know if your definition are correct, but those definitions are the ones that I will use ... Forever.

but only cool people like The Smiths, and only people who are trying too hard shop at hot-topic and if those streams cross then no one will know what's really cool anymore. AAAIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! :bonkhead:

Band tshirts suck anyway 'Look at me, I like x band, I must be really cool yeah?'.

Or it could just be that a person likes a band and wants to show support for them, not caring if it's cool or not. But what do I know...

stormjh 03-18-2010 08:10 PM

Yeah, admittedly it's often that as well, but a lot of the time it's no different to other 'fashion' and is just insecure teenagers wanting to fit in with their friends.

EDIT: And I use the word 'fashion' quite loosely there.

It could just be that is what defines the person. Such as, a skater rocking a DC shirt. Some people like to represent what they know.

Buying a bands t-shirt is one of the best ways of supporting a band financially. I'm not sure what bands get when the shirt is bought at retail stores, but I always make sure to pick me up a shirt after a concert. My little way of saying "Sorry I downloaded you music, but to compensate for the 10 cents you would've lost I bought a ticket and a t-shirt."

That's why I like shirts with nothing on them.
