2008 Wish-list
 

Here is a list of things I wish would happen by the time 2009 hits. feel free to add your own.

1. I wish 7 good pop songs would come out so I could finish my list of the top 10.

2. I wish Jackhammer would get my ****ing review back to me so I could continue to blog.

3. I wish adidasss would change his avatar

4. I wish I would write an album review, but I'm a lazy **** and havn't bought a CD in 12 months.

5. I wish, as a board, we would not review Chinese Democracy, and we should overall have this "Keith Richards" tabling an institutionalized motion.

6. I wish people finally got where I was coming from on a lot of this.

7. I wish people voted for the MB Awards. Jackhammer is working hard guys, lets get with it. (so hard he hasn't given me my WS review)

8. I wish we had a name for the MB awards, like the Rockafella's or the GregB's. (those are terrible suggestions, never use those)

9. While I really like the Brushfire Records christmas album, I'd love for a group of my favorite artists to get together and write NEW christmas songs. and maybe record "Father Christmas."

10. I wish the bored kids would go get jobs.

This I found to be quite humourous.

might i suggest mother mother's "o my heart"... amazing.

to be fair I went to a tour last dec or jan of this year and bought three.

the nice thing though, is that in being more cautious by virtue of poverty I find myself buying less crap.

I wish we had more people as devoted to improving this place as jackhammer.

One dude can only do so much.

Simply post a response in your thread with the text "reserved" or "jackhammers review", have him do the same and edit them when apropos or have him send you his response via PM\email and just post it yourself. Then then continue to blog...a solution where everyone wins.

In my limited time as a mod I'd say Right-track, Urban and Seltzer all do quite a good job and are also very active and intent on improving the site.

If the majority of 2008's new members stay awhile this site could be real strong again.

I didn't mean any offense towards the other moderators, and I wasn't even referring to his status as a mod. He just puts out consistently strong content in all of his posts, more so than anyone else I've yet seen.

So you decided to ruin my good-times thread so you could blow a Mod...

You're on my list buddy...my wish list....my death wish list.

I wish people would stop knocking Radiohead in non-Radiohead threads so I don't have to be a fanboy and defend them and start annoying arguments that ruin good threads.

seriously, why must we wear them?
is it to protect our pants from accidents? i don't have accidents, does that mean i get a free pass to the no underpants freeway?

i don't particularly like also that underpants are uncomfortable. and stupid.

boycott underpants, and let your real pants do the job!

Big 3. I wanted a Rar file of those White Stripes songs to digest and cogitate over for a while :( I have got to find them and D/L them so feel free to continue your blog.

I wish dac would shut up about how good Radiohead is, and I wish I would shut up about how much they suck, because other then that we're pretty tight, and I like to have friends.

What can we rant about today?

I say rant about not having anything to rant about

I suppose.
But yesterday, my underrants (get it, get it?) wasn't very well received.

Surely I thought everyone hated underpants.

One thing I hate is people who carry dogs in purses. Then bring them places they should not be like markets, bowling alleys, libraries and veterinary clinics.

These people should be made to bunk up with dobermans, perhaps rabid dobermans.

I've never seen dogs been carried in purses however there is an elderly couple who are regulars at my work and the push their dogs around in PRAMS.

I can put that comp together if you/Big 3 wants, although i'm missing 2 songs from it.

i wish i had a kitten in my pocket.

and bacon. yes.
