I hate AIM cause when someone adds you, you aren't notified. Until they IM you.

Argh Skype is so annoying! I have not been able to successfully send an IM to anyone in 6 months. Boo!

What I noticed with a friend of mine is that IM's dont go through until you're both online. I've recieved messages days after they've been sent because of this.

I now have Skype. GuitBiz.

What instant messengers do people use these days? I just got Skype... I don't have any others!

I'm always surprised to see that people are still using AIM and it tends to be females majority of the time.

AIM never really took off here. I only have it because I downloaded it to add a few people from here, a few years back. Over here, AIM didn't seem to ever be on the radar.

I don't have the client, I'm using a browser that allows me so sign in to several major chat clients at once. It's been a few years since I've had/used AIM at all, and it was to speak to members of my last forum.

Why am I defending myself for using AIM?
