I feel you, but I am more of a snowboarding fan. Less gear, cheaper, and more fun.

i haven't been able to go snowboarding in THREE FREAKING SEASONS. not a happy boarder right now. we get a few days of cold. maybe a few inches of snow. then *boom* 2 days of +10 and rain to clear it all away. local hills are making snow like mad in hopes of being able to start the season on monday.

Surely it was cold, otherwise there would be no snow present, or at least not in the powdery state that you see.

yep, i've been skiing the past few days in -35 C with windchill. half the mountain yesterday was closed because it was just too cold. gotta love canada. I'll post some photos later maybe, it's awesome, with all the cold weather ski gear on theres not a single bit of exposed skin. i look like a ninja.

Southeast Michigan just got a foot and we're expecting another foot over the weekend. And its all powder. I get out of work at five and I'm going snowboarding.

Upstate NY got hit with a little over a foot. I plowed my driveway and like 10mins later it was back again. I had school off yesterday from it so it's all good.

Yeah, my little sister brought home everything on Thursday night because she didn't think she would have school on Friday and, but of course, she did not.

We've got like 8 inches here in MA. Snowed from like 2 to 9 yesterday, and it started snowing lightly early this morning and still is right now. Expecting another 6-8 inches tomorrow I think.

Same here :D. But I would have either way because the school is replacing all of the lockers.
