That's going to be hard work, as the world around us has indeed become highly superficial...

I resolve to win the lottery.

I've never had a New Year's Resolution last longer than a few weeks/be successful.. but who knows, I could get lucky.

Get a new apartment with my two best friends.. hate where I'm living now. Random people are always moving in and out and I live in a town where I have no family or friends.

Ugh, I'm on day four of being a non-smoker and it's hell.

Hey kudos for making it this far at quitting smoking.... no easy task! I watched my dad and my wife both try several times and it so far didn't work, my mother is the best success story I have ever seen...

Basically she wound up in hosptial with 70 percent of her lungs clogged with pluracy... she spent three weeks in intensive care and nearly died...

BUT.... all that tiume on a respirator sure helped her stop smoking, and got her past the worst of the cravings...lol

Try cold turkey. I hear it's delicious during these periods.

Why don't people make New Year's resolutions to stick to their resolutions? I daresay that explains the general lack of progress.

Without sounding a typical bore-keep it up. I gave up 2 years ago after tabbing away for 15 years, so it can be done!

I resolved to start a new band since my last one died over the summer. I've already found someone to work with through craigslist and met up with him for a couple beers the other day. We're supposed to get together and jam early next week so we'll see how that works out.
