I get an A+ for not being in school anymore.

gpas fluctuate so much from school system to school system - standardized tests are better.

And none of your posts make any sense to me.

those classes look hard. what are you, fourteen fucking years old?

go take legit classes before you try to brag about shit that doesn't matter.

lol non-college people crack me up at how hard they think they've got it. They have so much to learn. And Double X is correct, high school gpa's are worthless accept when it comes to applying for scholarships. My HS was on a ridiculous scale:

100-93 A
92-85 B
etc...

It was bullshit. They screw their students over for scholarships.

My school adjusts 2 points in weighted GPA for honors classes. TWO f*cking points. I get B/B+ in my honors classes and I have dumbasses ahead of me in class rank.

GPA in high school is kind of a joke. Classes differ so much just teacher to teacher. An in A from one teacher might be a C in from another. There's an IB class at my school that is worth six points called "Elements of Research". It's a study hall.

BoopieJones 02-23-2009 11:19 PM

my gpa was like a 95, now its like a 94.9, its crazy scaled. I get like 99 in AP math and 98 in AP physics, scaled. I don't have the right to brag about any of the grades. My rank is only 11. . .and my SAT, although people say 1340/1600 is damn good, I wanted to break 1400's so I was dissatisfied. And I only got a 4 on my last year's AP english exam. I feel like intelligence and grade point average do not go together. I am intelligent and have a high GPA, but there are things that GPAs miss. . .and not to mention, my lack of responsibility and regard for school has made my GPA much lower than I believe I am capable of. Like, B's in english, wtf?
