Why would you?

Isn't Victoria Bitter a lager, despite it's name? I was drinking it in Australia and I seem to remember it was. In most places I was going it was either that or Carlton Draught.

I remember thinking it was alright at the time, and then finding a bar here that sells it a couple of years later. Wasn't impressed at all.
