Such an amazing beer. I look forward to this time of year for the few dry-hopped harvest ales that make an appearance. Not too long ago Sierra Nevada's Harvest Ale was only available in a keg. It's good to see they're bottling it now. I might have to take a trip to the grocery store this evening.

Also got the Bathtub gin GRUIT ale. The panty peeler is 8.5 by volume but doesn't have an overly alcohol taste, the coriander and orange peels give it a great taste. |

![]() ![]() Found at a bargain, so I thought I'd try one of my first "real" bourbons. Turns out it's a single-barrel, top shelf whiskey that's been aged 10 years. Absurdly smooth bourbon that complements a ginger ale like no other...definitely a step above everything else I've had so far.

Heineken. I know, I know:
But they were out of PBR, and it reminded me of that, when I looked next to the empty PBR slot and saw Heineken.

I'm a huge fan of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, but never ventured beyond that. How does this seasonal brew compare?
FWIW I like my beer HOPPY.
