Harvest ales are usually dry hopped, which means that the hops are harvested from the plant and thrown directly into the ale without any sort of curing or drying process. The result is an extremely hoppy, almost herbal flavor profile. Many including myself have compared the bouquet to very high quality marijuana, which is understandable considering the hop plant is a vey closely related to the cannabis plant.

I work in the arts and on Friday one of our clients decided to pay his bills with nuclear tactical penguin beer. Its like $80.00 per bottle and the worlds strongest beer.
Its horrible but man was I drunk.

Never heard of it. What type of beer is it? IPA? LAGER? BELGIAN STYLE? BLONDE? IMPERIAL STOUT?
http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sourc...yc1O2A&cad=rja Tried a glass of my friends Samuel Adams Utopia a few months back. Less then impressed honestly. |

!
I didn't even know you could get that in Ireland. Not suggesting anything about Ireland, just confused why they would bother to export such an awful domestic beer. I mean, it's the cheapest beer that Miller makes, and Miller itself is...not that great.

Excellent decision.
For me I'm not drinking anything to special but I've always been a fan of Blue Moon in the right mood. ![]()
