Pretty strong and flowery. I don't mind it too much but I tried it in several stages, and found that it's best at lukewarm temp straight from the bottle. For that abv though I'm cool with it.

Had some Laphroaig Single Malt Scotch a little while back after a show (I'm just now getting to sorting through some of the images on my phone) From what I remember the burnt barrel was really dominant, but it did have a really nice, smooth finish. I'm not a big fan of hard liquor at all, so I was sipping just for taste, and to appease my host who was pretty adamant about me trying it out. Had to have my stand-by on hand for a pallet cleanser.
