i dunno about Mexico but Guatemalan beer is absolutely foul. the three or so varieties of domestic Cerveza i found all tasted like horse piss.

yeah, central/southern americans really don't know anything about making beer.

It's officially the second worst drink I've ever had.

Top spot goes this cocktail called a green dragon. No idea what was in it but it was absolutely horrible. I can never decide what was worse - the drink itself or the fact I'd been dragged to a Wombats gig at the time.

Had a cocktail the other day which was essentially just a glass of gin. It was called a One Night Stand which was quite apt, looking at it's supposed recipe looks like the barman messed up.

Cocktails are usually my favourite drink. There's this great bar in the middle of Bolton which has a damn cool menu. Purple Paradisos and Bloody Marys are the ones I usually go for. Just a shame I've gotta wait 'til I head back north in September to try the place out again.

The best i've had is a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster, while being a brilliant reference it also tasted like sweet tropical heaven.

I just wish I knew any recipes. The only one I know how to make is a cheeky vimto, and it always ends up tasting like cough medicine whenever I try.
