Yes it does. And yes I have...in Dublin.
You can get a decent pint here in Manc in just about any Irish bar.
I just realised you're Irish...and you don't like Guinness?

Full Sail IPA: Weak- it's basically an IPA without hops or bitterness.

Mendocino Brewing White Hawk IPA: This is more like it- not the best IPA I've had, but has some depth and flavor. Kick's your ass if you try to chug.

Sapporo Reserve: Been snatching up tall cans of this- such a good beer when just kicking back.

It depends wildly on where in Ireland you're from.Up North(Ulster,Sligo) it's Smithwicks>Guinness.
