Got a couple of these babies for this evening. Might trade one of them with my buddy. He got a sixer of Hopslam:

And I'm not at all opposed to drinking that.

NOOO, stay with the Stone.

Ruination is probably the best IPA being made on the west coast right now. It's just about untouchable.

Oh, it definitely is. I just haven't had a Hopslam in a while, whereas I've had so much Stone in the past few months that having a Hopslam or two in addition to Stone doesn't sound half bad.

Actually, if funds allow, I may pick up a Double Bastard; haven't had one of those in a little while.

Double Bastard sure does live up to it's name.

I think the Levitation Ale is my favorite from Stone.

Levitation is for sure tasty. I remember having some of that at a bonfire with my friends; we're weird and drink for quality as opposed to quantity at our outdoor gatherings.

I also think that Stone's IPA, just regular IPA, is superb as well. Double Bastard is harsh, but deliciously so. I think Arrogant Bastard is great as well. Stone and Dogfish Head are probably my favorite breweries at the moment, with Rogue having some amazing beers as well.

These two surpass Ruination for me. I enjoy it and its definitely an A grade, but the bitter hops doesn't blend as nicely with the malts like it does with sculpin and mongo.

Levitation has a nice grapefruit blend to it. For Dogfish the 90 minute ipa is solid, i find the 120 to be too malty however. I rarely venture into Rogue anymore but when i do its the Chocolate stout for sure. If your into the belgian hops with a twist id try flying dogs raging bitch. Really packs a punch.
