I had this one recently and I really want another. I cant find a picture of a pint of it but its a dark porter, brewed with fairtrade coffee beans, and is a little chocolatey. It's very dark and I was assuming it would be very thick and heavy but its actually a little lighter than anticipated and goes down very well. Very nice beer from a great local brewery, Mordue.
Sounds tasty. I'm gonna delve into a Belgian Tripel tonight. Russian Rivers Damnation 23. Its barrel aged and sounds delicious. Bob get on this one, its winning awards in the craft brew field.

Samuel Adams Winter Lager

I've never been a big Sam Adams fan, but I'm really enjoying this lager.

A type of beer that's usually brewed at lower temperatures and usually has a lighter golden color.

cold fermented beer

edit

FUCK YEAH!

edit 2

most lagers also use certain strands of yeast called....lager yeast which thrive in colder temperatures......sometimes brewers use these yeast strands in higher temperature fermentation....which is where we get "steam beer" from

brewing beer changed my life

presently drinking an Icky
