Run by Mexicans responding to local demand.

Aint no refried beans in my breakfast burrito's. Thats crazy talk. Finely chopped mushrooms sauteed in butter for just a minute or two, then add some fresh salsa (tomato's, onions, jaleps, and cilantro) and some finely chopped carne asada until just warmed, then add eggs and cheese and scramble in the pan, constantly working it until barely still runny (it'll finish cooking on it's own). Throw into a tortilla, coat the seam end with a bit of butter, wrap, and grill seam down for about 30 seconds.
I'm making a bunch of these for an event I'm heading to tomorrow. I'm volunteering, and they're for me and the other vol's since we have to get there early. |
I can't see a problem.
They added an item to the menu and you got it without asking what was in it, you could have still had your machaca burrito, it's not like they changed it. You're at fault here Frown. |
Moving out here 20 years ago I couldn't get over how much beans are a ****ing staple with just about anything you order that's Mexican. ( and I don't like them) Same with flour or corn tortillas. (which I like)
Like you said, it's not really a good flavor IMO and I can do without the gas. I always have them hold the beans and give me corn instead. |

It's a lot better if you go to legit Mexican places instead of Americanized Mexican places like Acapulco. |
I don't think I've ever had refried beans but I think I would like them.
I wish we had more choice in this country when it comes to Mexican food. A really popular cuisine and we only have a few restaurants dotted around the capital and core cities. |
I thought breakfast burritos were already a honkie invention.
