Anyways, in a more traditional case I guess I would under certain circumstances. For a quick fling or onenighter nah... there are others out there who, like FD already said, don't come with the same risk of drama. But if I developed a loving relationship with someone who became disinterested or whatever in their spouse then sure, I'd sleep with them.

To clarify 'WD', the question wasn't referring to those in polyamorous relationships. Those are, by and large, consensual between ALL parties. This was strictly about single people dating and/or doing somebody they KNOW is married. Happilly OR unhappilly, no matter. More importantly, who should be held accountable if they're caught: the single person or the married one? That's why things got rather heated during this lecture/discussion that I was referring to. Surprisingly, many blamed the "single" person in that scenario. Perhaps I should've been more clear. Anyway, interesting comments everybody ( ) . I hope the discussion continues.

people are stupid that's why.

to me it's sort of common sense... if i got married to a chick on the presumption of monogamy and then she cheated with some random dude, i'de blame her. she's the one who swore wedding vows. why would i get mad at a random dude who doesn't even know me for trying to get pussy. people are just dumb and over emotional tbh.

now if i was friends with the guy... then i'd still blame the chick more but i'd say the friend is a dick too.

Both the married person and the single person should be held accountable, in my opinion. The married person more so, because he or she is the one who made a vow and commitment to the spouse to forsake all others. And the single person is actively helping the married person to break that commitment.

I have no responsibility to that person or their marriage. I'm being kind of a dick, but that doesn't mean I owe these people anything. If some lady wants to throw her marriage down the drain to get with this, then that's on her.
