I'm pretty sure she gets that reaction from other women because she has a huge ego. "Beautiful" is not a word I would ever use in the same sentence as "Samantha Brick" (except right now).

It is not April fools day ! She is a very average looking woman. She admits to flirting which no woman likes . To flirt to gain promotion shows a lack of talent, and is sexist. It should be a sackable offence in the job market. She flirts and is over confident about her looks and believes she is prettier than she is, these are reasons other women may not like her. Women cant stand flirts, or people who think they are beautiful when they are average. Her friends probably look every bit as attractive but are not as obsessed as she is . I know someone who is like her and I dropped them as they were always going on how beautiful they were and always commenting on how beautiful they were and how they could be a model ect. They were ordinary looking and dyed there hair every 2 weeks. No wonder women don't like her , it is not her looks but her behaviour and lies about her looks.

Maybe she's conducting some kind of social experiment to see how people judge the physical appearance of annoying people? She's the kind of person who could go either way in terms of attractiveness really. It's the apparently obnoxious personality that makes her unattractive.

I don't think most people are saying she's ugly (on the outside that is), I'm not. I'm just amazed someone so average looking could be so conceited and unaware of where she actually stands. If someone who was actually beautiful wrote it, I'd still write it off as conceited, but I don't think it would've become the laughing stock it has.

That's why I'm saying maybe it's some kind of social experiment on her part. Maybe she realizes her looks only fall on the pretty side of average and was curious how people would react to her if she started acting like she was super hot.

I mean I just came across one of her articles from a couple years ago detailing her 20 year addiction to psychics. She's either one of the dumbest people in the UK or she's someone who enjoys writing off-the-wall bullshit.

It's certainly possible and I think she found her answer. While everyone has been quick to attack her character and 'what's inside', I don't think people's opinion of her physical appearance changed much. Like I said, she's certainly not ugly and I haven't seen anyone call her that yet. Usually they just say she's average or pretty, just certainly not beautiful.

Yea, I don't know what kind of results she was after except maybe to prove that people find conceited people irritating.
Unless she's just trolling, I gotta say maybe she's just delusional.
Not to be misogynistic, but I wouldn't make any bets on the accuracy of every woman's self-image.
