how did you expect them to react?

time and place.

today was NOT the right day to stick your nose in their business. consider it from HIS point of view. this Nick guy just found out his future is ultra effed. he's going to be a dad. goodbye freedom and ambitions hello diapers and daycare. on top of that he just found out that the mom of his child was fooling around behind his back. the head games he's facing are just beginning - yours are ending.

and then you show up to confront her about 'your' hurt feelings? sorry kid your feelings don't amount to squat to their problems - especially today.

as it's been said earlier in the thread be thankful you found out what kind of two faced wonder you were fooling around with before you woke up with blisters all over your ding dong and a puking gf telling you you're going to be a dad.

don't get me wrong getting cheated on sucks. the hardest part is coming to grips with the reality that you trusted someone intimately who in turn ultimately had absolutely no respect for you. the challenge now it to man up and walk away. you now know what her score is, you know exactly what she thinks about you regardless of what she says she thinks about you.

if anything you owe an apology to Nick for bopping him with your board (although i'd do it through text). if you're lucky he'll have cooled down and might even drop the charge (then again i don't know how hard you hit him).

YOU on the other hand, should have nothing to do with their situation anymore. stay the hell away from it.

They came up to me... I should have worded my sentence better.

Who the hell's advice was that? I thought most people, including me, were telling you to move on.

Confront, as in engage in an adult conversation. And that person (who may or may not have been me, I forget) asked you to confront her, not him. You made the situation 100 times worse.

gotcha, that's unfortunate. please don't tell us all 3 of you are in the same class now...

i have to go to work now but seriously, ignore them until easter weekend is over at least. don't mention them on myspace or in your msn name or anything like that, don't be snide or indirect either if either of them happens to contact you.

everyone involved needs some time to assess the situation and get in control of their emotions again. there's just going to be too much going on with everything else no one is going to be able to react appropriately for at least a few days. do all the parents involved know they're going to be grandparents this time next year? how did your mom react to this news?

it might not seem like it right now but you really are in the best position possible in this whole scenario. you dodged a GIANT bullet today.
