Dead as usual then :(

I'm on all the time and every now and then, I open the program to see if anyone's on. Quite often, I see people who came and left during a minute. It's not a lot of time to discover that there's stuff going on!

But yeah, most of the time it's quiet. We've exhausted all the nasty topics already.

Make a minimum post count to be able to gain access to the chat?

Aside from the visitors on the chat mostly being MB members, the chat and the forum are completely and utterly separate. There's no feasible way to do what you're suggesting.

At least none that I can think of.

OoOOoo See i thought you MusicBanter was hosting that. My bad.

Or you could hide the post and only make it visible to people who have lets say a minimum of 150 posts? Would that be possible?

Cory, Jackhammer's point was that if all the discussions take place in the chat, then there will be none going on here on the forums. How are you gonna fix that by making a 150 post limit on getting to the chat? All that does is prevent newbs from chatting.

In any case, so far it's not even a problem.

coryallen2 04-22-2009 07:24 AM

I know it's not a problem but when theres a will theres a way so it may turn into a problem but im all for the chat room i think this looks cool. :P

It's getting a bit slow there these days .. I had a busy period myself a little while ago which I guess slowed things down a little seeing I'm probably top chatter. :p

Anyways, if you want, you can check out the #musicbanter channel stats (logged by Banter).
