Question: My ex boyfriend's father is going to meet me at the mall tomorrow to drop of a few boxes of my things, since he'll be in town for work. He doesn't have to, seeing as where he's staying is likely an hour away from me, but he offered without me even asking or knowing of it. Would it be appropriate to gift him a small bottle of whiskey or rum as a small thank-you gift? (I've been waiting 6+ months for these boxes, as my ex only got around to mailing one of them.)
