Geordie accents are strange. They don't sound English but don't sound Scottish either, really unique and interesting accent, I wonder why they sound so different to other northern ones. I was listening to a Berwick accent the other day and that sounded great, with a Scottish hint to it.

Can't really tell between Yorkshire ones, Leeds to Sheffield they all sound the same to me.

lol i watch True Geordie quite a bit on YouTube and i always hear him using slang that i've never heard another Brit use, guessing it's geordie slang.

well i associated that accent with being english because i already knew he was, but he definitely doesn't sound like a normal Englishman. the guy he does his podcast with is a Londoner so when they speak you would think they were from two entirely different countries.

Yeah, the RP accent is the 'British' accent to people outside of the country probably cos that's the one they always hear.

Welsh people sound more English than Geordies, it's mad.

i've never heard a welsh accent, every time i see Bale or Ramsey i try to imagine what they sound like and i don't want to spoil that by actually hearing them.
