Okay, alpha math nerd. Are you proud that you espouse a non-standard order of operations that will make your version of math incompatible with the rest of the world's therefore making you functionally math illiterate? I mean maybe if you were an actual mathematician with any kind of influence on how math is performed and taught then yours would be a worthwhile endeavor. As it stands now you're just a crank.

I'm proud that I'm right.

Like look at you bitch, not even validating your own stance. Shake that social construct boi.

Now I know how Galileo must have felt.

Except your position is pointless. The rest of the world apparently left behind your thing and is now happily doing their thing and not having any math problems as a result.

You know I think you really miss Chula. Now that he's not here to soak up your drunken debate fetish you're just starting arbitrary, scattershot debates over nothing all over the forum. Reminds me of an off-brand JWB tbh. Maybe you should start exercising to relieve all of that excess energy.

Nah you just a eurocentric bitch who's all about solving **** from left to right. You're still yet to actually justify your point outside of a baseless dismissal of BODMAS.

No, you just posted that as if it backed up your argument even though it did no such thing. How can I refute something that doesn't even address what you're talking about. I could have posted the exact same link. Again, you're drunk.

Oh and you know if you'd just explained it in terms of 2a and not 2(3) it would have probably clicked for everyone that you were right, cause everyone remembers that **** from algebra class. But it was fun wasting your time. Good night, bitch.

I learned through all of school that you have to get the number out of the parentheses first.

So 6/2(1+2)

Of course you start with the parentheses.

6/2(3)

Then to get rid of the parentheses you have to times it is what I learned. Or what I remember. Like, if it were just 2x3 then you'd do it right to left but since it's in parentheses you have to times the two and three first to get rid of them.

So 6/6=1. It's how I remember it.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Art Is Dead. Buy My ****.

I don't know, I think the guy in the video says the formula was changed and that's why. That's why math is easy. It's all about formulas. Then again, I never took college level math. When I did my year of college I had to take Geometry because I dropped out before then so I didn't know the formulas. I remember just reading the text book to learn the formulas before the final test then acing it. I should have just done that and took the SAT. My tutor for the SAT was a ****ing idiot though. She would get the answer wrong and then tell me "Sometimes the book is wrong" and by the third time that happened I was like "**** this I'm going to just take a class". Guess it didn't matter since I dropped out of college too.

Edit: That remind me of the time I was studying and she was helping some high school student do a report on drugs and the student was explaining what booty bumping was. That was hilariously awkward.

Going from 2(3) to 6 is the O in BODMAS.
