What's the longest it's ever taken you to cook a meal? Three minutes? If you think that making rice is a lengthy process, my guess is that you're the one that the Asians are laughing at.

My guess is that Asians don't give a **** how long it takes to cook rice so long as it cooks. They probably cook it so ****ing much that so long as it's ready that's all that matters. It's not like the best cooked rice in the world is going to change your life. It's ****ing rice. It's gonna be ****ing plain, you white privilege ****s.

Asian or not if you're not washing it (and it's coming out mushy) then you don't know how to cook rice.

And you would know that that cooktime takes about ten minutes if Asians could learn to pay attention.

safe to say if you make something a lot you're going to make sure it tastes decent and not like ****. kinda weird to assume something about an entire race as well but you do you, i guess.

Maybe I'll wash the rice once and see how it comes out and how long it takes, but I'm not about to put actual preparation into god damn rice. Might as well ask me to heat up my milk before pouring it on my cereal.
