First of all it's cheaper.
A mixed joint will make you about as high as a pure one with much, much less weed. Secondly it kicks more. Especially pure bowls don't really feel like anything, while mixed ones really **** you up. Ultimately it all comes down to what you're used to of course.

I've never been against the blend but I've always preferred the pure joint. Your "eh it's the same high anyway" argument isn't really a selling point when you can just smoke a smaller joint.
