Do you have a season ticket at old trafford? if so, where do you sit? :)

Back on topic..

I'm hoping to get my first car around September :D I'll have a problem of what CDs to put in my car.

I'll probably burn them to blank CDs.

Ey, got any idea what you're getting for your first ride?

My car's CD player is the most frustrating piece of electronics I've ever dealt with. It randomly rejects or decides to play CDs, with no real consistency on its decisions. For the last week the only thing I could get to work was David Gray's White Ladder. Luckily I'm a closet fan, but a little diversity would be nice.

DH...
Nice job on the front enclosures. What kind of speakers and what head unit you have?

I have a Clarion DXZ785USB HU, 6.5" Orion 2-ways in the front, 6x9 Orion 2-ways in the rear dash, and a self powered Boss 10" sub. No need for an amp with my head unit.. Pushes 22 watts RMS per channel.
Good enough to get my speakers hot and bothered.
Sounds great in the car.

Not really, I've never been into cars.

Probably a Fiat Punto or something, I'll have a serious think when I get back from holiday mid September.

Any recommendations from you car enthusiasts as to what should be my first ride?

Meh, just whatever will cost the least and last the longest.
If I were you, I'd look into Honda. Accura if you got the money.

Yeah, I'm not too fussed.

Long as it gets me from A to B and doesn't break down inside the first 6 months I'll be happy. :)

Orion is awesome. I used to run an orion amp for my highs until it blew.

I have an Alpine 9887, which is the top of the line alpine right now. My front speakers are Diamond Hexes and Alpine Type S because i don't have the money for a matched pair at the moment. The front speakers are getting 500 watts from a rockford amp, that is in the trunk. Don't have a pic of it.

Well, I bought an 03 Honda Civic LX not too long ago and, not that I would expect it to give me any trouble, but it's been about 3 or 4 months and not so much as a shake so far.
I always hear good things about the reliability and lifespan of Honda. That's why I chose that out of the used dealership.
Already I've changed the oil, oil filter, air filter, all the fluids, checked all the wiring, and it's really a simple and easy to maintain vehicle.
