Onto the real thread, has anything ever reallllly shocked/offended you? I was thinking about it last week, and having visited /b/ and generally lived life for 21 years (I know the two aren't compatible but shut up). I find it's hard to offend me, apart from the obvious evils. So waht's the smallest thing that has ever offended you? Or, what you have been shocked to see hasn't shocked you?

Blatant hypocrisy gets on my nerves more than anything. I mean, we all are hypocritical to some degree. However, when some Jesus-worshipper goes about acting like a sadist (aka. ball-tapping me every time I walk down the hall way) or decides to gang up and make fun of some kid, it pisses me off. 1. I care about my testicles. 2. I don't care about the kid, but please try to at least follow what you adhere to.

You were right about The Beatles fans, once many moons ago, I saw a Beatles fanboy bashing the Rolling Stones. This guy bragged how great The Beatles are how much better they are than the Rolling Stones etc. (you know the rhetoric) So I stuck up for the Stones and he gave me such a hard time thereafter. Then I started a thread about CCR vs. The Doors and the same guy wrote The Doors suck.

So yeah you can say it's small offense, and maybe I shouldn't complain about it, but it really annoys me when someone bust on my Stones and slams The Doors.

I think it was over some brouhaha in the Lounge, I really feel sorry for him because, (hmm I don't know) I felt like they ganged up on him. The irony of the whole thing is I went to him because of this guy (I won't mention any names - don't look up) kept following me around the site and calling me troll. Well he gave me some advice how to stay out of trouble then he himself gets into trouble - go figure. I totally miss everything around here anyway, so I'm not the authority of what happen to Boo, but I do miss him

Well hopefully he will come back. I think anyone who picks a fight with BooBoo should leave tbh.

Since I'v joined though it seems the core members whom are active havt really changed that much. Of coarse new ones added in.

Boo Boo left voluntarily and will be back in a few days.

The whole matter is now closed and I would ask that people don't go on about this subject in threads with album reviews or in journals. I've just deleted a load and if I see anymore i'll start handing out infractions for spamming.
