![]() ![]() Well for one thing it makes the shoes super comfortable. The big reason for them though is that it helps mimic the experience of running barefoot, the end result being that you strike less with your heel. For me, hopefully, this will mean less knee issues from running. |

I dunno, though... I've run barefoot before, and I still get the same heel/ball-to-toe motion, as it's a natural running occurrence. The only time that's not the case, with me--at least--is when I'm sprinting. I may be different though. |
