My last somewhat major purchase. Yes, they look goofy as hell but so far running in them is making a huge difference for crappy knees.

I own two pairs of them. They're great.

Oh wow, you got toe shoes.
A guy at my school wears them all the time. It looks hilarious. I don't see any reason for each toe to need its own separate space, but it sure is a conversation starter.

Well for one thing it makes the shoes super comfortable. The big reason for them though is that it helps mimic the experience of running barefoot, the end result being that you strike less with your heel. For me, hopefully, this will mean less knee issues from running.

Hopefully. At least the sharp impacts would be reduced, but I can't say the same for issues caused by ordinary pressure impact.
I dunno, though... I've run barefoot before, and I still get the same heel/ball-to-toe motion, as it's a natural running occurrence. The only time that's not the case, with me--at least--is when I'm sprinting. I may be different though.

Well, I guess I'll just have to wait and see how it goes.

Wearing VFFs is one step away from running barefoot, so having the toes separate helps with that feeling. I personally like them because they're very lightweight and socks are optional.
