Looks Interesting

I've heard the same thing about Tacitus but I love me some Caesar. He's the best kind of the worst kind of person. Donald Trump will talk about a racist wall he never even built to demand attention. Julius ****ing Caesar invades England for no apparent reason and comes back to Rome spinning his naked penis in circles.

That cheapo lamp and end table have been relocated. I did some rearranging and picked up a new lamp (the one on the left), and grabbed some strip lighting for some backlighting behind the tv.

Spoiler for making some serious interior design moves:

One of the extremely stupid and annoying ways my OCD ("pure O" type) manifests is in online shopping indecision, especially when I have a Visa gift card or something. For days I spend every waking moment agonizing about it, editing my shopping cart compulsively, fretting over choosing the wrong combination of items (because it has to be just the right combination of things) and, when not doing that, fretting over feeling greedy for spending a gift card gifted to me on myself, etc. (and when I do finally buy things I often will cancel half of the items and purchase other things instead, and so on)

Earlier this year when I had a gift card, I convinced myself I needed to spend it on unusual baking flours, so I spent 2 weeks spending every waking moment researching things like how to make acorn flour and coming up with recipes for odd variations of things like snickerdoodles, which of course made me feel a great searing need to hunt down unusual flavoring extracts and syrups and teas because ordinary ingredients just won't do-- never mind the fact that my extreme absentmindedness makes baking a stressful ordeal for me every time since I'm like a tornado in the kitchen.

Anyway, this time I was fixated on wigs, since my hair is short now. Not that I have any wish to wear wigs regularly-- I just think they're fun is all. So naturally I had to drop everything to immerse myself in every wig-related forum, subreddit, and youtube channel for 2 weeks (causing me to miss a doctors appointment) and stare at every single wig on every single online wig store. All this resulted in buying one (1) cheap wig on Amazon, plus bird seed and a window bird feeder for the kitties and leaf-shaped hair clips.

Oh god I get like that when buying things online, to a lesser extent usually, but sometimes it gets excessive.
That's a gift card well spent though.

After about two years and a recent print run of nearly 1000 pages, shock horror! The ink on my laser printer has begun to fade! So I've ordered a new one. Just waiting for it to arrive. Certainly beats changing cartridges on an ink jet every few months, with all the attendant mess.
