I was basing this on research on the net. Some actual person from Japan had an online journal where he said this, so if I'm wrong about Japan, sorry. It's still a retarded concept. **** **** ****ety **** **** ****.....****.

I like the Japanese people. They're awesome.

So anyhoo, I used to cuss. But what is the point in it? It's everywhere, man, just too much of it. But what's useful about saying those words? Does it make you "cool"? Do people look up to you because you said the f-word? Y'know all the words we use today had other meanings way-back-when and our society has perverted them all.

I feel like such a n00b here. u.u;

^Well that's taking into consideration that "curse" words are significant to begin with. Some words, regardless of their social acceptability, become apart of your everyday vocabulary. I think acknowledging curse words as significant is naive to begin with.

^ They are significant now in that they help to convey severity of emotion. A large portion on an old school project on Lorenzo Carcaterra's 'Sleepers' was about the use of expletives.

But I guess they're only significant because they're used so often by society.
