Holy **** i cant believe its almost 2010. Any thoughts or reflections on the past year?

Any good new years eve plans? Personally I plan on spending it with good friends and hopefully a cute girl while getting really high and laughing through the night.

I'll probably do the usual stuff. Go to a pub first, then get into a club as early as possible and get sh!tfaced. Then afterwards go to a house party, get high and eventually pass out sometime around 8 in the morning. Good times.

Musically it's been a pretty cool year but my life's increasing complications have made it less so. Hopefully 2010, and the 10's in general, will be great :)

This year started off terrible but got a lot better. Just have one more bad thing to get through and then it's smooth sailing to 2010 (hopefully). I'll be getting ****faced with all my good friends on New Year's Eve, I ship out to boot camp on January 4th. I'm just hoping to survive boot camp and that I get used to the Navy by the end of the year.

I hope to get together with some friends and do our usual weekend routine. Go for a long walk around town and then head to my friend's house to play Halo and watch movies.

I'm hoping to go to Belfast for New Years to see a mate who lives out there. I was there recently for her wedding and she's asked me to go back. It would be great, but ill have to wait and see if im working or have the cash.

2009 was hopefully a year i can look back on and realise thats when i turned a corner in many ways. Only time will tell. If i havent then this year's gonna suck just like all the rest of them for the past 5 or 6 years.

I will be up in Vancouver from Dec. 21st through to January 4th. I just found out today that my dad and step mom will be going down to Palm Springs from the 25th to the 2nd and will have the apartment to myself. I doubt I will be spending much time there except to collect the mail, feed the cat, do my laundry, and have sex in their bed.

As far as New Years goes I'll be going to a house party somewhere and probably spend most of the night stoned while enjoying a small amount of alcohol.

New Year's Eve=staying in being antisocial.Same as every bloody New Year.Such is the lot of the student with no mates back in his hometown.

2009=had it's lows,and an awful summer.But on the whole decent,hoping for a good 2010's.

As far as 2009 is concerned the best way I can describe it is side stepping a pot hole only to fall off a bridge. Far too many decisions were made rashly but I guess I'm finally in school so that's good even if I'm not enjoying it. If I could relive this year I would definitely do A LOT differently but I can't so I'm going to stop being hypothetical and just get on with it.

I agree this year had it's ups and downs. February was one of the worst months of my life. It's definitely been picking up steam lately, though. As for 2010- damn... I still remember playing basketball outside talking to my friend about what the Y2K problem actually was. That was '99; Doesn't seem that long ago.

This year I'm taking a road trip up the coast and should be in Seattle for New Years. Pretty stoked if it all works out, but not sure what to do there on a small budget. Recommendations?

ahh 2009 you went so fast! One of the better years considering a) I did not once go to counceling or cut myself b) I fell in love (and acted on that love) for the first time c) I was one of 2 lead singers in a band and through that experiance made some of the best friends i've ever had and d) am one year closer to being an independant adult free to make all the stupid mistakes I please

bad year considering a)all of my new friends graduated and went to college and all my old friends are either squares or have been corrupted as bad or worse than myself and no longer desire to talk with me b)got chewed out for some dumb things c)school is school and i still have 7 quarters of it left

2010 is REALLY close to 2011 and then im out of here bitches! huzzah! *throws pirate hat into air and dances a jig* but its gonna be a tough year because I already have major senioritis and i am only a Junior :(

2009 was ok I guess. Nowhere near as memorable or exciting as 2007 or 2008 were for me, but nowhere near boring.

New Year's on the other hand probably will be a bit of a drag. The only plans I've got so far are working on various stuff for uni.

This year has gone past very fast. I don't really have any plans for New Years though. Most likely going to stay home with the women.

the year in general at the start was alright, but its getting shitter and shitter as the months go by.
January 'til June I was still in high school, but on study leave from the Academy, it was awesome. Used to go down to a place called Millheugh on free periods from school, and sit on the big hill with all my friends getting wasted in the sunshine, it was awesome. Or when we were in the Common Room, playing poker on free periods etc. I miss school so much. Also turned 18 this year, which hasn't been as exciting as I always thought, haven't been into Town (Glasgow) since my birthday, which is amazingly shit that I haven't. Havn't had many shifts at work so I'm ****ing skint. My driving instructors ripping the pish out of me, just so many small bad things like that have happened. 2007 was the best year.. ever. In terms of music this year has been good, had many good albums out :)

edit: new year should be pretty awesome. I plan to get wasted beyond belief in some club, I think I'm going to an event called Back To The Future, NYE. Which should be amazing. Heres hoping.

for the first time in my life I think I can truly say that I'm happy, I rarely go out New Years Eve and I don't expect this year to be any different. I reserve getting completely legless for the other 364 days a year

2009 has been good to me and I will look back on it fondly

It's nearing the point in time where my collection of my current year's complaints, annoyances, grievances, objections, resentments, dissatisfactions, gripes, and criticisms get consolidated into an annual super-blog and posted all over the internet.

*sigh*
So much work to be done.

Went by too quick. This year has been the best and worst for me.

I finally moved out of my parents and got a high paying job that I hate, but its pay good so what the hell ever.

But this all happened because my father sold my car, and I got fired from a job that I liked.

This year was horrible for me, I spent most of it in hospital :(

christ, that sounds terrible. what happened?

On holiday to Sri Lanka this New Year's. I will be doing the same thing I do every single New Year's: eating intemperate amounts of food, and then falling into a coma for twelve hours.

Pretty much I have the worst immune system ever and I was graced by the presence of many, many complications after I had my tonsils removed. I'm really wondering if getting them out was a better result than the chronic tonsillitis I had beforehand... I don't think so.

Thats awful, I take it thats the reason you were scarce for a while there :(

How are you doing now?

New Year's always ends up being a big disappointment for me. Maybe it's due to the expectations you have (this being the "party night" of the year"), but I haven't had had a good New Year's Eve experience for a very long time.

Most of the time I end up throwing up on some unknown person's couch and pass out by 1 am.

Best year of my life. Fucked a lot of sexy girls, found a lot more great music. Started a job that let me know what I wanna do for the rest of my life. Good year, plan to top it with the next one. Only headin up!
