That picture of the Afghan girl is amazing, I remember it from years ago when my dad had a subscription to National Geographic. Here's a pic they did for a later story, showing the same woman 15 years later:

To me this says even more than the original picture. Her eyes look harder, her countenance rougher...you can tell the last 15 years had not been easy ones.

Yeah, I don't know what happened to the ones I posted...

Her eyes are much duller. I'm guessing shes in her late 20's, or early 30's judging from her appearance in the first photo. She looks like shes had a bloody hard life, and looks alot older than a woman of her age should look.
