As for the avs, they are of course completely optional. It was actually part RT's idea to have some prizes this year, most specifically he suggested some nice sig banners. Since I found out I sucked at making banners, I ended up doing the trophies instead. ;)

Luckily for all of you, I was ready for my big win and so prepared my acceptance speech several weeks ago. Here is the true story of how I developed my skills to become victorious over BoardTracker as MusicBanter's Most Boring Member of 2009....

THANK YOU! Thank you all for this inspiring award! You may be wondering how a mere mortal could figure out how to bore so many people for so long so successfully. Well, give me just an hour or three of your time to let me explain and I will tell you:

TWO SCORE AND ONE YEAR ago, a long and skinny baby breathed her first breath of earth's sweet air. She grew up in a fascinating and disturbing world whe...ACK! Computer glitc...keyboard not functioni....Oh well, I'll continue as bes.......as I was sayi............marshmallows on strings hung from th.........ey hacked their heads off!! and I wa.........re buried alive in sandy pi..............ot spit running down my fa............sly, sideways glances revealed the tr.................international romance and intrigue!.......the untimely death of.......sweltering, ancient buildings at Ephesu.......scurrying wall spiders the size of children's hands.....rprised by this tortured existen.......uckily my typing skills never failed me.........raccoons!.......d by my uncanny concentration abilities and (oh! The keyboard is working again) THAT is how I came to be here today, the winner of the 2009 MusicBanter Most Boring Member award!
