Wither that's bullshit I don't know.
been there. when I went the 'time machine' was under maintenance, so I had to take the stairs, probably not the same experience.
Also, done Arthur's Seat, great view up there.

Is Dynamic Earth the same centre with the iceberg in it?

The most beautiful place in the world I've been to is a place called Dephi Valley in Connemara on the west coast of Ireland. We were brought there on a school trip for a few days nearly ten years ago and it was an amazing experience. Everything about the place was so tranquil, you felt isolated and cut-off from civilisation but in a good way. It was an escape. The scenery is pretty awesome compared to where I live, which is flat and boring, you were surrounded by mountains, ribbon lakes and streams. I'd really love to go back there sometime and escape from society for a few days.

(Not my photos btw)

The buildings in the distance on the right in this picture is where we stayed. It's kind of like a mountain leisure resort.

The first picture looks amazing, especially with the little boats. I am also maybe going to the lake district down south today, so I'll probably take my camera .

Err, I think so. They've also got one at the Discovery in Dundee. Just a slab of cold material, right?
As underwhelming as that sounds

I've got hundreds of smashing pics of there - you can hardly turn a corner without wanting to get out your camera.

Zer0 - those photos were stunning - the grove of pines above the jetty there really make that an incredible scene. I think the whole of the Kerry region can be considered pretty picturesque, although I personally find most of the area around Wicklow south of Dublin really boring and don't quite get what everyone sees in them.

I haven't been down the Kerry direction in a long time and the last time I was down there it rained non-stop so I don't really remember seeing much. But it is a very beautiful place.

Another amazing place I've been to is Snowdon in Wales. There's some very spectacular views from the summit and I got to ride up the mountain in a fucking train

No, I can remember a fully fledged iceberg sitting on something, we could touch it. I held my hand on for that long trying to put my hand print on it I thought I had gangrene

I totally monged out and forgot my camera cause my brother was rushing me. I was so gutted when I realised, halfway down the M6 .
