Well, most of you are going to see this as a pointless thread, but this is something I have to say. Many people come here just to advertise their crappy band and stick around to see if they will get any feedback. Their threads get deleted on the spot and they are automatically banned. That is the only right thing to do, I guess. But, I was thinking, what would happen if you left their thread and let people tell them how much they suck. I personally think that it is so fun when they start defending the band they are advertising. Of course, the thread would be deleted after the MB members get some fun. But, that's just m opinion, maybe the other members wouldn't find this fun. I'm evil by nature :D

They don't come back though.

well, that sucks... I saw a couple of them really arguing in the thread graveyard...

A couple out of hundreds.

And that's not an exaggeration either

I usually trust the moderators who come across those types of threads and, out of sheer adventurous capacity and judgment, decide to leave the thread open.

Although it's nowhere near a fair comparison in regard to those that never get a chance to be graced by our negative humor, it's worth noting that when we do get the chance... it is quite fucking good.

if you're on here for awhile, people know you, you have respect (espicially good if from mods) you can advertise (but not like a psychopath)

then that's the potential for something even worse then. by antagonizing them in what they'll be seeing as their thread you'll potentially create harsher short term trolls, and it will give off an air of superiority to potential new members.

would you want to join a site where the regulars crap on noobs? (it's not like they won't use the 'i'm new i didn't know any better' excuse at the start - every time).

Now that we're making jokes about 80s pop singers from internet memes that have not been funny for about the past 5 years I feel now is as good a time as any to close this.
