The dead will rise from the earth, and they will knit pretty beige sweaters for us (and cardigans for the hip oldsters).

Here's a good read that should put this whole thing into perspective.

Its just a cover-up. I stole it.

I remember when I first started shaving. I was in seventh grade and one of the only boys in my class who could grow a mustache. I had the biggest crush on this girl named Jessica... wait a second... this is supposed to be a thread about robot maids and jetpacks and shit? I thought this was a coming of age thread! WTF?

TheReverend 03-22-2010 04:10 PM

The name may be misleading, but the thread is still interesting. In 100 years, the fossil fuels will run out and we will be left with a war-destroyed earth from all of the arguments over the last oil fields.

1 year from now, I will (hopefully) have a new guitar.

Everything else is negligible.

The way it's currently being painted, something like The Road.

Ha, I love things like this. I actually found one quote I really like (and it's pretty much true):

"The cinema is little more than a fad. It's canned drama. What audiences really want to see is flesh and blood on the stage." -– Charlie Chaplin, actor, producer, director, and studio founder, 1916.

A cross between The Futurological Congress and Futurama.

Haha it could be. But it was my over imaginative mind that came up with this title.
