"goodnight sugar" "see you tomorrow sugar" eh? nae need! |

I also hate it when people refer to someone as "love" or "dear" in a condescending manner.

lol I use a lot of the words people hate it seems :/
I started using terms of endearment in my speech because everyone nearly always thinks I'm a bitch, when it's just the way I talk Dude I use way too much, but it's multipurpose For the use of getting someone else's attention: "Dude. dude. Dude" Disgust or disapproval: "duuuuude" etc etc Only words I can think of off the top of my head that I hate are "moist' and "sausage" |

This thread ought to be renamed "deep-seeded anger issues."
I think you guys are tying stereotypes to words that are largely untrue. I used to hate anyone who thought Ja Rule was good music because I thought they were liable at making poor life decisions. I do quite a few of these things listed in here, I'd wager I'm not what you think of when you hear someone say it.

Rubbish, Tosh, Pants, Bugger, Sod. = English.
Dude = American. I don't think people have a legitimate reason for hating words, it's just one of them things. Dude said in the way Paloma uses it 'duuuuude' really fucks me off. |

I hate it when people say "FML" when it's completely the wrong time. For example, "Whoops, typo, FML."
I also hate some words like snog. Can't really think of other right now.
