I've been banned like 6 times, but only one of those times was I banned without personally asking a mod or admin to do it.

As in a lot of times I don't want to put up with the BS there but I have an addictive personality.

Oh yeah, I was banned for having a Hitler avatar. But that was like 5 years ago, if I did that now no one would give a sh*t because it's like 4chan now. Speaking of which you'd fit in there WAAAAAAAAY better than you do here. And go right ahead because I havent been hanging around there anymore.

First ever was musicbanter. I still have the most posts here.
Then there was movieforums, which satisfies my need to have an intelligent discussion about movies (and some other sensitive topics) with some incredibly intelligent and knowledgeable people and which has improved my own knowledge of movies immensely. I don't post there often, but I still like to read what my favorite members have to say about movies.
And then there was gay.hr, which helped me in more ways than one and has some of the most intelligent people I've come across anywhere.

I've been very lucky actually, in that I didn't have to search many forums to find the right environment. All three were a perfect hit and satisfy my need to talk about my main interests: music, films and books so I don't feel the need to search for other places. Plus, it takes a while to establish yourself in the community and I just don't feel like going through that process again...

So I have to ask. Which is your personal favourite? After taking into account the "I kinda go there when I feel like it" mood.

Difficult question. I guess I'd have to say gay.hr. The main reason is probably because it has a lot of hyper-intelligent people who have opened my mind in a lot of ways (also plenty of retards which is why I have a massive ignore list going on which gets larger each day). Not only that but I've actually started hanging out with a few of them outside of the forum so I have more personal interest in it.

Are there more 'Sir Spamalot's over there?

Im registered at quite a few but i only use this one now. Messageboards always had a tendency to piss me off. I used to use the BBC one alot but only because it was the only site that wasnt blocked at work. I used to use SillyGoth but that got shut down. The name is misleading, by the way!

I have other accounts here and there but none i use.

Ahhh, I see, I'm surprised you didn't say MB, seeing as your here an awful lot, but I think MB is the best one I've ever been a part of and it's really grown on me a lot I guess

It used to be populated by metalheads so I trolled it a lot, then it was populated by indie kids, so I trolled it a lot. I'm very disliked on this forum because I never use it for serious discussion except when I get into heated arguments which is often. But I don't have friendly discussions with people. Most of the people here are f*cking idiots and the mods never do anything. I do still hang around though when I get tired of the more strict control of MB so when I feel like being an assh*le I come here.

I actually made a profile there, don't think I got even 100 posts. Some of the people seemed alright, but most of them seemed like jerks who wouldn't even give me a chance cause I was a noob with a low post count. Ah well, doesn't sound like much of a loss from your description.

We loose out because we don't get the "hyper-intelligent" nod.
