I heard about something like this a few years ago. Its because of recessant genes. But I always thought someone came up with that idea just to cover up the fact they've either been cheating or mixed up the babies at the hospital.

and in Canada the cuckold is on the hook. it happened to a guy a close friend of mine works with. up until the moment of birth he was all psyched up to be a Dad, including getting married.

apparently when the wrong colour baby popped out the doctor and the rest of the staff kind of silently went about their necessary business to ensure the health and safety of the newborn and left the parents to hash things out. she confessed to cheating, he chose to sever the relationship and file for divorce.

the only thing that should be 'baffling' to geneticists in this situation is how the mother is refusing to own up to having been adulterous in the past.

The situation is funny and all, but they probably have a lot of emotional problems later on.
