i turned on the show cops the other day when i was cooking, and they had an episode in my hometown

it was depressing so i turned it off, it sort of did make me dislike cops for a second

not personally. just, i dunno. i always side with the criminal i think, unless they were doing something seriously ****ed up

in this case it was some black dude caught with some weed and extacy and an illegal firearm. just a run of the mill drug dealer really. and i just felt like he's just trying to make a buck, and the cop is trying to make a buck as well but for him to do so he has to come **** this guy's life up a bit. so i found myself wishing the drug dealer got away... thinking so he's trying to sell some drugs and has an illegal firearm on him for security... maybe to further his drug dealing enterprise he'll have to shoot some other drug dealer... who really gives a ****? i know that's not a normal response... but honestly that's how i think about it

i mean i do try to approach it as cops are just people trying to hold down a job too so i can't hold it against them personally.. and some of the stuff they do i legitimately do appreciate, like responding to serious crimes. but then i'm reminded of the other day when i pulled up on a checkpoint and didn't have my seatbelt on, and now i have to pay 116 dollars for that.... cause... i dunno why i guess cause some *******/group of *******s once decided that people who don't wear their seatbelts have to pay 116 dollars

and then when i remember all this i'm once more tempted to resent them

Why resent cops for this? They're just enforcing the laws that society created. It seems more logical to resent politicians than cops in this instance, for demanding harsh drug laws despite public opinion starting to swing in favor of leniency.

Cops are balls.

I'd like to be a scriptwriter for Cops one day.

It's my dream to date/shag/marry a cop. The uniform in New Zealand is so damn sexy. But I'll take international too, bonus accents! When I see a cop these days I am no scared or annoyed, just checking whether they are ****able.

You resent cops because we choose the job that we do, we do not however write the laws. If you choose to break the law, however, they choose to face the possibilities of the law getting involved. If you've got some weed, an illegal gun, out selling dope you've put yourself in that position. You've given yourself the chance to be arrested. And yet, you blame the cops for doing their jobs. Why is there never any blame on the criminal for choosing to break the law and choosing to put themselves in the situation where they are against the police?

SSSh drama queen, don't talk at me, like you know why I don't like police.

We've been over this. I don't behave like an *******. I do my thing, whatever that maybe in the privacy of my own home. I don't drive, and I don't don't bother anyone.
Last time I checked, police were civil servants, that do a job that we the people deemed necessary. We felt we needed to be governed, so therefore we created a government, and entrusted each of our states with it's own branches of law makers and law enforcement. Now it's become so outta wack that sometimes being a policeman means you get to do terrible things to people with impunity. And that's disgusting. I already told you, I don't dislike you personally.

Something you don't know about me because you just got here. I studied forensics, and got to know quite a few ex police officers, and fed's that are now retired college professors, and do you know what happened?

I got sooo fed the **** up with the inner workings of a broken judicial system, I am considering (when I get my funding back.) switching my major to criminal law. Defense, just in case you were wondering. ;)

I don't trust cops, not as far as I can throw them. I think they bank on the average citizen not knowing their rights, and not knowing what those rights mean.

Yeah, she doesn't like police cause she's black. Or at least she claims to be black.
