I refuse to work a job that makes me miserable. I don't think that makes me stupid, I think it makes me smarter than anybody who thinks they have to power through a ****ty job.

Granted, I know that there are going to be ****ty days and there will almost always be that one guy that really really sucks, but if a job makes you truly miserable find a new one. If you want your life to be a repetitive cycle of struggling to find inspiration to drag yourself to a job that you absolutely hate then go ahead. We are all entitled to a happy occupation, don't think otherwise or you'll just become complacent and die miserable.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

This pretty much mimics what I was getting at. There are some amazing jobs out there, you just have to find them. The excuse of "it's called being an adult" is completely out of the ball park. Nobody is destined to be miserable their whole lives. That's at least how I'm not going to live my life. I'm going to enjoy every minute I can.

If you're some combination of stupid/talentless/uneducated you're probably doomed to just ****ty jobs though.

I hate how accurately this sums up my life. I've made my peace with it tho that's why I don't complain about it.

I'm sorry to hear that.
Also wouldn't say that you come off as stupid.
And it seems like a big reason for your situation is that you're country is kinda ****ty, isn't it?

Yea. Once upon a time I could afford the luxury of turning down sh*tty jobs but now I'm competing with unemployed over qualified ppl for them. I want to clarify though, PR is not a sh*tty country it's just our politicians f*cked it up by stealing public funds and borrowing money to hide our debt. PR citizens were kept in the dark about our massive debt and the shady sh*t they were doing behind closed doors until one day the government came out saying "we're broke and in debt" Our newly elected Governor partly won cause he promised transparency in his term.

It's not that PR has always had a sh*tty economy it's that the ppl responsible for PR were extremely irresponsible and now everyone is suffering cause of them but it's not like PR was a poor country before that.

With san francisco's plentiful hills once in a while an event that might occur is a pair of parents pushing a stroller over across the street of one. and damn near every time i kinda just wanna kick them in the shins and send the stroller soaring down into oncoming traffic.

Well that was anticlimactic. I thought we were going to hear about a flattened baby.
