Getting Your First Gig
 

I live in a suburb of LA, Rancho Cucamonga. There are a few hip hop artist coming out of my local area, but there's definitely room for improvement. I released my first CD recently, and it was received really well. But now i'm thinking to myself, what's next? I want to start performing, but the task seems so overwhelming. I'm not sure where to start. I've done some digging and there aren't many local venues for hip hop. So my question to you guys is, how did you go about getting your fist gig? Especially those of you who live where there is little to no music scene?
