The other is two countries (India & America) "broke away violently"??? I never considered Mahatma Gandhi as a violent revolutionary or some bloodthirsty warlord. And it should be duly noted that of all the countries in the world India never invaded another country in its entire history. (Not that there wasn't wars and internal strife within India.)

America or the US etc etc reinserted it's independence from the royal crown (aka England UK Great Britain etc etc). There was no interest in America it was overlooked until it shown to be prosperous and ripe for taxation.

You know what grinds my gears? The fact that the most boring space movie ever, Gravity, is liked by basically everyone. There's hardly any character development and all that you see is Sandra floating around in her panties. Does anyone else feel the same?

I haven't seen Gravity, but there's no way it's a more boring space movie than Mission to Mars.

That movie creeped me out as a kid, the part where the guy takes his helmet off and his face instantly freezes. I remember nothing else about the movie.

Gravity looks good though.

That's literally the only worthwhile scene in the entire movie. So if you're only going to remember one part, it's definitely the part to remember.

I already bitched about it in the last film you've seen thread but it's basically jerk off material for people that are heavily into first person shooter games.

It was good for one viewing and one viewing only. The cinematography is nice and I appreciate it but yeah that's about it.
