Mmm Bop

now, lets settle this. im a fan of MMM BOP by hanson. i openely admit i feel enlightened listening to the pre-pubescent, flowery catchiness of the song. but ultimately, its a really light hearted, summery song with tons of fun and, er..joy. now, im ready for the barrage of disagreement but i had to get it off my chest as ive been a closet mmm bop fan for a long time and the burden of secrecy slowly starts to weigh me down...yeah, what do you guys think of the song then?

I think we'll all have had a sing along to this song at some point, you can't help but join in with the catchy tune, however lame it is...
a brave act to mention hanson in these parts... :)

SaTaNsChIlD666 04-02-2005 10:05 AM

dude although that is horrifying and sad...but hey you had the balls to say it....so i have no reason to give you **** about it.

Anarchy doll 04-02-2005 10:22 AM

i agree.....Tee hee though

SATCHMO 04-02-2005 10:51 AM

The first time I heard it I was like "Is this some neo-Jackson 5 kinda deal" Its a good song. better than you would expect from a prepubescent boy band. After it had been in maximum rotation on the radio & MTV; and after the media had a field day with these kids it began to get on my nerves, but yeah, all in all its a good song.

I hate the song with a passion. I really really do.. The fact that I was happy enough to sing along to Mcfly and yet couldnt bring myself to sing to Hanson (while I was under the influence of quite a bit of alcohol) just says it all... I hate it. Heh, sorry, no offence meant to you!

ladyluckrules 04-03-2005 11:33 AM

you should drink more alcohol then

I never thought I'd see the day when a Led fan enjoys a Hanson song!

hookers with machineguns 04-04-2005 02:50 PM

I bet those Hanson dorks are reading this right now and lovin it, in the midst of googling their name to see if anyone in the world is talking about them.

Zealious 04-04-2005 04:52 PM

Well music is usually designed to make you happy so I guess its a good song for you.

blackTshirt 04-05-2005 12:12 AM

^ but music can get awfully depressing.. i guess it has soemthing to do with the genre, right?

Waynegrow 04-05-2005 05:14 AM

the only thing cool about hanson is the fact that quagmire talked about taylor hanson on the family guy thats it what an inbread song. P.S. does he scream ( I'm *** yeah)
? just before the chorus or what does he say? <-this has baffled me for years.

dog 04-05-2005 06:04 AM

^ yea i love episode, quagmire is so funny

something along the lines of "bawwwwwwoooooppp yeeeaaaah" probably studied zulu or the language of hanson.

Catch33 10-21-2008 07:48 PM

I too love that song. I was amazed at how depressing the lyrics are when the song is so cheery-sounding.

CAPTAIN CAVEMAN 10-21-2008 08:10 PM

are you fucking kidding
