I HATE using pencils for anything other than sketching. The feeling of the graphite against the papers does... Something. I don't even know, I just know that I hate it.

Also, I point any and all pointy objects away from me, due to a strange childhood fear that they will fly off the desk and stab me through the heart. You can thank a third grade teacher for telling me the "totally true" story of the kid who was walking with his pencil and tripped and stabbed himself. I know it makes no sense, and I know it won't happen, but I NEED to have pointy objects pointed away from me. Otherwise, they could kill me.

Thus, all of my pencils, pens, scissors, etc. Are sitting faced down into a cup on my desk. That way, when they try to fly forward and kill me, they'll get stuck in the wood. :3
