c'mon who doesn't want to look like that

s_k 04-29-2011 01:35 AM

I used to have a friend who looked just like him, only the friend's hair was cooler
He turned out to be a ****head in the end. And so does jeff lynne. Don't google.
His early ELO work was nice, though :)

I do. I used even have my hair bleached and done in the same style when I was in my late teens.

Flesh For Fantasy still remains one of my favourite tracks and holds HUGE memories for me. Simon (still my best friend) and I used this track as the opening for a school project that took the form of a radio broadcast to show our use of oral language and audio composition. We came second :(

Heh. I was listening to "Flesh for Fantasy" because of this thread, literally right before you made that post! I don't know if I could even pick a favorite Billy Idol song but Rebel Yell and Whiplash Smile are definitely my favorite albums by him.

GERD 04-30-2011 05:59 PM

David Icke is pretty cool.

Django, not even a fucked up hand could prevent him from making amazing music. He was probably the classiest gypsy ever, he even ate salad with his hands in front of royalty because he just did not give a fuck.

Definitely... I've always admired the classy type of cool and not the "I'm a douchebag and I don't care" type of cool.

Serge Gainsbourg is also pretty cool. He may have been a pig, but I couldn't help but laugh when things like this happen. Not saying I'd ever talk to a woman like that though. ;)

What's a "hello kitty fiance"? I mean she doesn't look like a dude or a cartoon cat so...

No, his fiance loves hello kitty and I just put the three words together awkwardly.

you wouldn't get it but if he saw that, he would get a laugh out of it because he knows what I'm talking about.

"Fiancé" is the word for an engaged man. "Fiancée" is the word for an engaged woman. Just sayin'.

ah yes semantics....but thank you I did know that. I was just lazy when I typed it and didn't go looking for the accent in the character map and didn't type the extra e

When is the grammar police physical exam coming up? do you think you are going to pass the test this year? looking a little pudgy around the mid section.

Yeah, typing an extra e is pretty hard. I can see why you'd want to conserve your energy.

So he's fictional. I don't care. He's the coolest person ever. If you watch Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, you'll find out why.

This is so true, but come on, comparing anyone to Kamina is just not fair. :D

The answer is, beyond the furthest shadow of a doubt, the great Lightning Hopkins.

Look at him. He's the epitome of cool.

If I was half as badass as he is in this song...
