Yes - 2
No - 11

Generally speaking no, though there are many situations where the answer would be yes (to include pasty, old men).

you guys must all have some very nice reflective windows because people tell me all the time that they can see into my apartment.

They can see my ceiling fan from across the street and I live in the second floor.

Maybe you just have an unbelievably bright interior of your apartment.

That's a weird comment for people to be making all the time. Actually, even once. "Hey, I can see into your apartment!"

I get it from the odd person, but my house is on the ground floor and has massive picture windows, with the highway parallel. At night, these windows serve basically as a theatre screen for drivers to look into my house. Thank christ for blinds and drapes.

that's why all of youse ought to get refractive/patterned glass like we do

Paedantic Basterd 06-09-2011 09:51 AM

It wasn't available in the 60s, and the drapes do fine otherwise.

I'm cheap.

That's a situation I could understand.

Sometimes I catch people staring into my house from the stop light adjacent to the highway. I wave at them, and they become extremely embarrassed. Good stuff.

CanwllCorfe 06-09-2011 10:21 AM

That's crazy. I'm not used to stuff like that at all. We only have apartments in some of the bigger towns, which are all around 17-20 miles away from here.
