That's hilarious. It reminds me of an Arrested Development scene:

VO: In fact, Tobias had intended to come, but had a slight miscommunication with his cab driver...

Cabbie: Where to, mate?
Tobias: The Gothic Castle.
Cabbie: [in thick, cockney accent] The Gothic Asshole?
Tobias: That's what I said.

VO: ...and ended up in the wrong location.

Saw a pub in Brighton, England, back in the 90's, called 'The Queen's Head'
The pub sign hanging over the door was a painting of Freddy Mercury's head.
Needless to say, it was a gay bar.

Haha, is that the one where Tobias buys the leather outfit?

And speaking of leather daddies, there's a gay leather bar in Boston called The Ramrod.

Another Brighton pub is The Pub With No Name:

Quote:

So well known it doesn’t need a name, the Pub With No Name is housed in a rambling building no architect could possibly have designed. You just keep on finding nooks and crannies and interesting places, and another comfy sofa to sit on. Art and photography decorate the walls.
The name reminds me of a tarn in the Lake District that`s marked on the map," Innominate Tarn ".
Q : Does Innominate Tarn have a name or not ?

I saw an interesting one up in Scotland on my way to the ferry: The Doctor's Inn.
